Some Penguins Fly Creations

Some Penguins Fly is about following your dreams and expressing your true self. I choose the name Some Penguins Fly Creations because it provides an image for my own journey in life. 

When I was young, I was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. Most teachers gave up on me and put me in my own little room. The only teacher who didn't pass me off was my art teacher. Since then, art has been my passion. 

My logo is a penguin riding a hang glider because it illustrates that nothing is impossible and that even flightless birds can fly if they think creatively.

Some Penguins Fly Creations is a collection of my passions - creating unique pieces on paper, canvas or clay. 

SPF began back in 2014 as Nerdy Narwhal Illustrations and focused on commissions, holiday ornaments and greeting cards.  

I love creating unique pieces of art for my customers and I am very excited to be opening my commission shop back up after Covid-19. 

In 2018, I launched my penguin-themed artwork collection, "The Flock," at Art on the BLVD on Brookline Boulevard. 

Then "The Flock" and “Love Pebbles'' caught the attention of the Tribune Review at the 2019 Vandergrift Arts Festival. 

In 2022, I hope to get my greeting card line developed and raise enough money to purchase a Cricut and a high quality printer to create more unique greeting cards and prints.
